At age 22 and fresh out of art school, Pedro Guerrero began working for Frank
Lloyd Wright at his Arizona home, Taliesin West.
From that day in 1939, when Guerrero found his
life's work, until his last assignment for Wright in 1959, three weeks before
the architect's death, Guerrero captured Wright and his buildings in hundreds of
photographs.
Presented here is a selection of Guerrero's
favorite images of the master architect, his work, his homes, and the Taliesin
Fellowship of apprentices.
These classic photographs have appeared in
nearly every major publication about Wright since the architect first published
them in his 1940 book, “In the Nature of Materials."
