| In 1938, when Guerrero was a student at the Art Center
School in Los Angeles, an advanced photo class assignment took the budding
young photographer to a ranch on the Malibu beach with an assignment to
photography the female form. A whitewashed
tree limb, fabrics in stripes, polka dots and fine satin provided the
dramatic props for these compelling images. |
